Like people who intend to buy a new car, or are in-market for new appliances. In the auto intender example below, segments from 3 providers were tagged online and consumers were sent a short survey to determine whether they were in the market for an SUV. All of these providers over-delivered compared to the incidence of SUV intenders in the general population.
